Human as an Iron
I'm sorry, I din't had much time to write. but recently , I mean today I had to give a public talk in front of everyone in the college. So this is a little peak of what my speech was :D Enjoyyy!!
Giving a public talk is
actually my biggest weakness so I hope ill be fine today. For days I’ve been
trying to decide on a topic to talk , I finally made a decision. Today ill be
talking, I mean giving a sort of a motivational talk. Please feel motivated
listening to me :D teehee
Okay, first I would like to ask
everyone here to feel important. You, yes, we are important. In a quran verse,
its said that humans are like iron. And why is that? Humans can make a big, great
change to the world. For most of us we would say, “nahhh. I cant do that. I
heard that a lot ,so what? I’m not them”. But the reality is, everyone has the
power to make anything that they want. We can make good things, we can also
make bad things.
The characteristics of an iron resembles a human .
Just like what I learnt a few
days back. There are people like Einstein, who made a great change to the world
while people like Karl max, the man who made the ideology of communism , who
used his power in a bad way. So from there we can actually conclude that humans
do have power. And today I’m emphasizing that we, yes, ourselves also have
powers. Maybe not the world yet but to the people around us.
One of the things I hold on in my life is, "Be inspired, and be the inspiration". Its not an easy thing, I
admit. Its not hard either. You yourself has to decide on what aspect you want
to see things in your life. If you see it in a good way, it will be good if you
see it in a bad way, it will be bad. For
an example, the most common and closest thing to us, homework. Homework is like
a disease. People often get stressed , depressed just because of homework. But
if we look at homework as something that would help and improve us, it won’t be
such a burden. Its just the matter of how you deal with it
Next, I understand that we all
have our own weaknesses but until when we want to stay just the way we are? For
an instance, when you are in a position that you need to speak up, do you want
to stay quiet and let things get worse? Or you want to stand up and make it
right? I watched video about racism between white people and black people in US
. They want to see whether do people care and stand up for their rights? And
surprisingly a lot of them did but a minority of them don’t. So yeah, stand up
for rights when you need to . You don’t have to actually get mad , you could
talk nicely and find the best way to stand for your rights. Just like in Academic Writing(AW) we
learn how to argue in a good way without picking up a fight with the other person.
We can actually use that knowledge in our real life by applying it. So ask
yourself, when I want to get over what I’m AFRAID to do and when I want to get rid the fear you have
inside of you. Its never too late.
So as a closure, I hope what I’ve
said today would give everyone in this house at least a bit of message to make a great change to the world
in future. As I was supposed to talk about environment today, I would like also
to ask everyone to help our sick mother earth who’s dying day by day. Therefore
I end my speech with a short quote by Demi Lovato.
“No matter what you're going through, there's a light at the end of the tunnel and it may seem hard to get to it but you can do it and just keep working towards it and you'll find the positive side of things.”
