Cooking oh masak
I wanted to start cooking because I want to be independent and able to survive on my own.
But from time to time, the intention altered because I felt happy when I cook for my family.
At first I admit, it tasted bad. Overly cooked, too salty or just tasteless you name it.
After practice and practice I managed to perfect a few of my favourite dishes. Those dishes are not western but its 'masakan kampung'. And I prefer traditional food because its unique.
Masakan kampung can be hard because you had to start from scratch. For example, cooking curry is not that easy at the beginning because I had to know what needs to be blend and what needs to be the starter (tumis).
So i practiced it trillion of times and i managed to purrrrfect it!yay alhamdulillah.
That is one the art in cooking. And like what mak said "In cooking, theres no right or wrong"
Isnt that just amazing? 😄
Another joy of cooking is when I cook lunch or dinner for my family. I always look forward on how much I improved. When my dad looks forward to eat and he liked it , I know I have to keep up 😊
Theres this feeling of being blessed when your dad loves your food.
Wee alhamdulillah.
Well basically, I was a terrible cook and I never knew how to cook.
All it takes is some practice, time and passion 😉
More recipes to go!
Love,
Liyana
