A glimpse of snow

Hi there, Eid Mubarak my dear readers!! :) I can't believe I'm having my first ever Ramadhan overseas during winter <3 the weather is great and the best part is we only fast for about 10-11 hours. haha Just kidding. That's not the best part. but anyway, this time, I want to share something with you guys :)
Ever since I was growing up, I've always admired the experience my parents gained while living in the States. I've always wanted to see, touch and feel snow by myself. But all my mom said was,
"Belajar pandai-pandai, nanti pi tengok sendiri."
You know, at first, I was kind of frustrated that my mom didn't want to take me there but then again, I'm thankful that my mom raised me up that way. You know why? because it taught me how to be grateful and never give up in everything I do. Below are the photos I took when I stopped by the road while cycling because I was just too excited and happy. Because I get to experience it on my own after so many years wanting for the time to come. Alhamdulillah :)
This was the temperature (maybe lower on the next day. it went down to -2 actually)

Look at the frosts on the grass! Don't they look amazing? I was so fascinated that the 'embun' froze haha.

I can't help but to touch some of the leaves on the ground. look at that ice surrounding the leaves! Omg they're so amazing!

Apologize for the 'excited-ness' my dear friends. I've went overseas before but never in my life I experience winter to this level. I once went to China during winter but then the temperature wasn't as low as I'm experiencing it now.
Anywho, what I'm trying to say is, keep on working hard on whatever you're doing. The hard times are there to teach you. For you to be brave. Always think of the possibilities in the future.
And one last thing, " Parents know best".

Truly, Liyana :)
