Define Busy

Hi! August is coming to an end soon and September is starting to show itself. Gosh time flies. Im going home in less than 3 months now! yayyyyy (I really want to eat eat eat and shop shop when I'm back coz everything is so expensive here). Tonight I want to share with you ,one of my monthly schedules :)
It turns out that September is quite a busy month for me. I thought I had only 1 thing which is my Financial Accounting test. However, after I put everything into my calendar, this is what I get....

Just so you know, these are only events which EXCLUDES my classes. My classes starts on the 5th of September. Look at the things I have after that! So many :o omg Im so fascinated by all the green colours. Although, I know I will be super busy with Student Volunteer Army(SVA) stuff, rugby games(supervisor je bukan player haha) and projectssss, I know I will have fun. You know why? because these things help me to understand myself better.

Some people may wonder like why do I keep myself busy? Am I not tired? Is it worth the energy etc. Initially, I tried to get jobs because I was short of money, like really short. There's this one time I had only $2 in my bank for a week (I borrowed about $20 from someone but thats just temporary bcs it was emergency). But yeah, I really had no money. Some people also wonder like what did I do to all of my MARA money. Here's the story...

Firstly, I never had my own personal laptop, ever. Before I came to NZ, I know I need to get one bcs if not, it will be hard for my studies here. And then, I bought one with my money.
Secondly, I really need a proper good phone. Ive tried samsung and asus but something happened to those phones (1 got into the pool, and the other one got destroyed as I accidentally dropped it on the tar road). So yeah, both gone. I ended up using my mom's iPhone 4s longer than I used both of the phones. Hence, I decided to get an iPhone 6s bcs I dont want to carry an iPad around. Also I want a good quality and simple phone. So I bought an iPhone with the money.
All in all, I'm proud to say I didnt use my parent's money, at all. and I bought them cash (feeling bling bling lol).

Anyway, since most of my money I spent on those, my budget was REALLY TIGHT when I came here. When I was hired for a few jobs, I was really better off but since the job is ongoing, now I'm stuck with them luls. Not actually stuck but I need to commit to those jobs until who knows when.

And somehow, I figured out that the busier I am, the more organise I will be. Maybe because I feel that my time is precious I guess. And you know what? My studies are (alhamdulillah) on track and doing good so far. My result(s) are waaaaaaaaay better than last semester. Alhamdulillah again. I guess everyone has their own way ey?

Lastly, Im having my 2 weeks spring break right now, I decided to 'kiasu' the first week of holiday and chill the 2nd week. Some may think its a bad idea bcs the following week I'll have an exam. If I study this week, at least my momentum is still on. I still push myself. Compared to if I start studying next week, my momentum still needs to warm up and I'll eventually procastinate to the last minute. Hence, next week is a good time to chill . Although the exam is near, there's no point of 'sumbat'(cram) everything last minute. I don't study by remembering anyway, Im more to learning by understanding. I learn better that way(which is the effective way of studying guys!).

I guess that's it. Im going to Rakaia Gorge next week. Ill update about it (hopefully I'll remember haha). The river is so pretty so I decide to camp next to it! yay :D

Bye guys. Be kind.

Regards,
Liyana
